Part Four of our summer tasting experiences takes us to the South of France.

This Class is taught by our French Wine Scholar, Al Fischer

Tonight we will be exploring the wines of the Loire Valley.  Spend the evening as we learn about this wine region along the Loire River.  You will enjoy several wines from the region and take a journey through history.

The evening will begin with a Sparkling Wine and end with sobremesa.

If you’ve been waiting for Freaky Grapes Spirits classes, the clock has just struck 13…

In the October evening light at the mysteriously beautiful Speckle Rock Vineyards, we’ll be conjuring up a few treats to share.

You’ll receive a Welcome Shot and a Closing Cocktail. In between, we’ll talk about the basics of distilled spirits, and we’ll taste and compare a few crowd favorites. This broad overview will prepare you for deep dives into the different spirit categories over the coming year. 

Which spirits will answer our call? Will they be fiery? Downright scary? Or friendly and approachable, like Casper? Join us and see! You might find a new “spirit” friend to follow you home.

Tonight we will be enjoying wines that can be enjoyed during the Holiday Season.  We will be trying a wide variety of wines and as always, there will be a few surprises.

We will kick off the evening with a Sparkling Wine.
